The Valley Chapter, Home of the 2020 Annual Convention, Welcomes You! Check us out and see what the Valley has to offer - * Chapter meetings at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, WI 3-4 times a year.

 

* Eat and Educate events - we provide a free CEU and you simply pay for your meal. Events will be held one evening a month starting this fall at establishments in the Valley. Watch for details here and on Facebook.

Wilders Cutting Edge Bistro 6 pm Live Life Awake - Mindfulness Dr Kay Theyerl, Medical Director of ThedaCare Lifestyle medicine and at Work Onsite Services will enlighten and educate us as well as help make us feel better. Be stimulated to think about our feelings and responses to stress and learn about dysfunctional coping strategies and more healthy coping skills. These skills can be used by us and taught to our patients and family. We will discuss the science of the mind-body connection.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH:

SCHULTZ SCHOLARSHIP The Valley Chapter of Medical Assistants offers a $200.00 scholarship to a student who is enrolled in an accredited medical assisting program located in the Valley Chapter area. The Schultz Scholarship recipient will be notified by mail and the award will be presented at our May meeting.
